This page summarises your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when you use KinkyFriends, an adults-only (18+) service. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

2. Your GDPR rights
If you are in the EU/EEA (or where similar law applies), you may have the following rights:
- Access — obtain a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data (many fields can be updated in your profile).
- Erasure — request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention needs.
- Restriction — ask us to limit processing in certain circumstances.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling where applicable.
- Data portability — receive data you provided in a structured, commonly used format where technically feasible.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent (e.g. optional marketing), you may withdraw at any time.
3. How to make a request
Send an email to info@kinkyfriends.com from the address linked to your account, or use Contact with the subject “GDPR request”. We may ask you to verify your identity before responding. We aim to reply within one month, as required by GDPR, and may extend by a further two months for complex requests (we will inform you).
4. Account deletion
You can request full account deletion via email or account settings where available. After deletion, some data may remain in encrypted backups or logs for a limited time for security and legal compliance.
5. Cookies and consent
KinkyFriends uses a cookie banner when you first visit. Your choice is stored for 7 days:
- Accept all — you agree to our use of cookies as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Essential only — only cookies strictly necessary to run the site (e.g. login session) are used; optional analytics are not enabled.

6. Legal basis summary
We rely on:
- Contract — to provide the member service you registered for.
- Legitimate interests — security, abuse prevention, and improving the platform, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — when law requires us to retain or disclose information.
- Consent — for non-essential cookies and optional communications where applicable.
7. Supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your country of residence, place of work, or where an alleged infringement occurred. In Norway, this is Datatilsynet. Other EEA countries have equivalent authorities.
8. Children
Our service is for adults aged 18 and over only. If you believe we have processed data relating to a minor, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
